Neighborhood
For me, I really start to feel at home when I begin to sense a true neighborhood - by finding the grocery store, recognizing familiar faces, knowing exactly how to get where I'm going everytime I leave the house.
As of today, I know where three different grocery stores are, I have seen the same dog (and I assume same human) three times, and I haven't gotten lost in 2 days.
Here are some pictures of where Jody and I are calling home...in Tokyo.

How great that this quickly you're already getting a sense of familiarity! I love living your adventure through you :) (Ric loves the country and Albuquerque was more city than he liked... so Tokyo would for sure be out!)
Love the crib! Can't believe you found a dollar store haha. Keep blogging and posting pics. I so look forward to your posts. Love you and miss you. Please tell Jody I said hello.
Apartment looks very nice. Great view!
Coco, what side of the street do the Japanese drive on. The picture is a little deceiving.
They drive on the left side of the street...which hasn't really affected me. They also walk to the left when passing, which has taken some getting used to. :)
Love the pics! Your place look so neat and cozy. I too love living this adventure through you. So exciting! Buddy had a play date with Holly last night. They grow more and more in love each time they see one another. Love ya! Can't wait to hear more.
Your apt looks wonderful. You are so far away but sound so close, and always close in my heart. Loving and thinking of you. What a adventure, and so glad you are enjoying this journey. How is the weather? When you come to florida bella will be waiting for buddy. Eat a piece of fish for me, fresh from the market. Looks nice the city.
Love to you and Jody
